NEXTGEN START-UP PROGRAM

Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders: The NextGen Startup Program

Are you ready to empower the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs? The NextGen Startup Program is a transformative initiative designed to equip young minds with the skills, resources, and mentorship they need to turn their bold business ideas into reality.

This one-week intensive program, hosted by Community Futures Lac La Biche, is more than just a training opportunity—it’s a launchpad for future leaders and changemakers. Open to aspiring entrepreneurs from our community, the program provides hands-on workshops, goal-oriented mentorship, and essential funding to help participants take their first steps toward business success.

What Makes the NextGen Startup Program Unique?

  • Hands-On Training: Participants engage in six interactive sessions covering critical topics such as business basics, marketing strategies, financial planning, and more.

  • Mentorship for Success: Awardees gain ongoing access to Community Futures mentors, with regular sessions to ensure their ventures stay on track and thrive.

  • Financial Support: Start-up funding of $500 helps participants bring their ideas to life, with an additional $500 available for those who meet their goals by the end of the program.

  • Recognition and Awards: Special awards celebrate outstanding achievements, giving participants extra encouragement and visibility for their hard work.

Why It Matters?

The NextGen Startup Program is about more than starting businesses—it’s about investing in the future. These young entrepreneurs represent the next wave of innovation, and their success has the potential to uplift our entire community. By fostering creativity, resilience, and determination, we’re helping to build a legacy of leadership and growth.
