2026 Lac La Biche

Business Walks

We want to hear from local businesses.

Starting September 28, Community Futures Lac La Biche and participating community partners will be visiting businesses across the region to learn about their experiences, challenges, and opportunities.

Your feedback will help us better understand the local business environment and identify areas where organizations can better support our business community.

Business Walks begin September 28, 2026.

ABOUT THE INITIATIVE

What is the Business Walk?

The Business Walk brings local organizations and businesses together through short, in-person visits across the Lac La Biche region.

During each visit, a team of 2-3 will spend approximately 10–15 minutes speaking with a business owner, manager, or representative about how business is going, the challenges they are experiencing, and the opportunities they see for their business and the region.

What we learn from these conversations, along with responses to the online Business Walk survey, will help identify common themes and provide a better understanding of the needs and priorities of our local business community.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Two Ways to Share Your Feedback

Whether we meet you at your business or you participate online, we want to hear how business is going in the Lac La Biche region.

In-Person

If one of our teams visits your business, we'll have a short conversation built around five questions:

  1. How is business?
  2. What challenges are you currently facing?
  3. What opportunities are you excited about?
  4. What would make it easier to do business in the Lac La Biche region?
  5. Is there anything else you would like local organizations to know?

These conversations give businesses an opportunity to share their experiences in their own words.

Online

Can't meet with a Business Walk team? You can still participate by completing the online Business Walk Survey.

The online survey covers the same key topics as our in-person conversations and gives businesses across the region an opportunity to share their experiences, challenges, opportunities, and needs.
